SM-4430

Description

Fluorosurfactant SM-4430 is a nonionic polymeric fluorochemical surfactant which can significantly reduce lower the surface tensions of aqueous and solvent-based solutions. SM-4430 provides excellent wetting, spreading and leveling and other beneficial properties in a variety of coating, paints, adhesives and sealant formulations.

Suggested Applications

SM-4430 is soluble in most of the polar organic solvents and dispersible in water, it is stable in acidic, basic, brine, and hard water environments. SM-4430 can be formulated in a variety of systems as a flow and leveling agent in various applications including but not limited to industrial, automotive and electronic coatings, inks, paints and adhesives. SM-4430 is useful in both water and solvent-based coating formulations and provides benefits to high solid and UV cure coatings. Recommended use level is between 0.05% and 0.3% active solid depending on the solvent system.
